Fashion Week-Days 5 & 6

Days 5 & 6 were alll about Marc Jacobs!!!

The Marc Jacobs show was held last night at the NY State Armory. After starting the show 2 hours late...youch..Marc showed one of his wackiest and creative shows yet. The show was done backwards...with his bow and the finale model march at the beginning. The underlying theme seemed to be "Little Girl Playing Dress-up"...complete with the hair and makeup. The pieces were very delicate are a bit too conceptual and "artsy" to consider wearing in real life but the accessories were lovely!

Frog detail on evening bag

Another little froggie on a beautifully textured quilted bag

Sheer Boot w/ Lace Appliques

Gorgeous!

Now this is hot...a heel with no heel!

In another color..

My fave head-to-toe look

Fabulous! Marc never disappoints...even if you don't love it, it's always new & fresh.

Marc by Marc Jacobs showed today at the NY State Armory. The collection was fantastic! There were tons of primary colors and the 70s were shined on heavily.

Fashion Week- Day 5

Fashion week fatigue set in yet? We're just getting over that hump and fashion week will soon be over....here are Sunday's highlights:

Diane von Fursterberg showed a vacation-inspired collection yesterday. The themes bounced from Africa to the Pacific and all blended beautifully.

Alek Wek

Fun!

Derek Lam also showed his collection yesterday.

Liya Kebede opened the show with a hot dress!

Hands down my favorite so far! The skirts and dresses are amazing and the colors are lovely!

$50.00 QUICKIE

Well actually it's a bit less than $50.00, $47.00 to be exact! I'm sure you already have the needed shoes and accessories add this $12.50 top with these $34.50 jeans and you're good to go!
