Fashion Week -Day 3

Two of my favorites showed on Friday...Proenza Schouler and Tracey Reese..let's jump right in..

Proenza Schouler chose to show outside of the tents at the Park Ave. Armory. The venue blended perfectly with the military theme of the show.

Every jacket and vest was belted...do I smell a new trend??

Editor of Vogue Anna Wintour and her daughter were front row

Demi Moore was also in the crowd

And back under the tents Tracey Reese showed her usual fun blend of beautiful colors, feminine silhouettes and Victorian-inspired prints

Veronica Webb and Deborah Cox came out to support Ms. Reese (center)

Editor at Large of Vouge, Andre Leon Tally was also in the building

Can someone explain to me WHY Kimora keeps having runway shows? Does this ish ever make it in stores??? Here's a few snaps from her show yesterday.

Kimora Jack&Lazaro over at Proenza Schouler did this multi-colored corset like 3 years ago! If you gonna bite at least be a little more up to date!

I do like these pants though...

Lawd is Ming wearing skinny jeans? lol..

Nick Cannon & Fiancee Selita Ebanks were spotted at the show...seriously Nick that hoodie is ri-damn-diculous

MJB&Star Jones also showed up

Fashion Week-Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of NY Fashion Week! Today's schedule was a little lighter than yesterday...and by light I mean shows that I am personally interested in...lol..

Cynthia Steffe showed today...my favorite look from her show was this lovely look..love the color and love the boho feel of the skirt!

Cute!

And in fashion week after-party news celebs were spotted partying it up already!

Rachel Zoe looked emaciated at Tom Ford's party

Seriously...one of those waiters needs to drop off an entire tray of hors d'oeuvres to the girl...

Demi Moore and Mischa Barton looked stunning at the Van Cleef & Arpels party

Eve also showed her fabulousness at Van Cleef & Arpels

Wait a minute...is that her court-appointed ankle alcohol monitor? lol...

The always lovely Joy Bryant at Glamour's 'Fashion Gives Back' Event

Gorgeous! And those T-strap Louboutins are fierce!!

And it wouldn't be Fashion Week without gorgeous model candids...too cute

Stay Tuned for more!!!

Fashion Week-Day 1 Cont.

Well there was just too much excitement from Day 1 to contain to one post! Our favorite former RocaWear designer,Rachel Roy, showed her spring collection yesterday. As usual her best pieces of the collection were her dresses...my fave two looks below..

Gwen Stefani also made her way back to the tents after a 2 yr hiatus on the fashion show scene...her collection was very 60's era Beatles inspired...my fave look was this ruffled pencil skirt..hot!

And it wouldn't be a Lamb show without a few infusions of Gwen's trademark black and white..this one is gorgeous...and the shoes deserve a close-up!

Hot Bag Alert!!

Gwen takes her bow w/ little Kingston in tow...she looks fab!

Stay tuned F Listers...there will be more updates later today!!!

NY Fashion Week-Day 1

Yeah! It's Fashion Week here in NYC and I'm loving it!! Today was the very first day...buckle up ladies we have lots of ground to cover!

First up was BCBG...

Max kept everything very light and airy...my favorite look from his show

Ciara&Ashley Simpson showed up

Next in the tents and on my hot list was Grey Ant! For those that don't know I credit Grey Ant with single-handedly bringing back high-waisted jeans...his silhouette is retro inspired but always modern. A few of my favorite looks...

Next under the tents was Brazilian-born Alexandre Herchcovitch. Well-know for his "Geek Chic" aesthetic...I was curious to see his collection. I have to say, I was definitely disappointed..there were a few standouts..love this piece below...but overall there seemed to be some sort of 80s prom reference going on...

Stay tuned for more..we're just getting started!!!

DO THE PREP

It seems geek is the new black, I look forward to doing the prep this fall! Ladies you can make this look all yours by adding fitted pieces, and taking pieces from the menswear (hot this fall as well) look and making them work for you in more ways than one! Have Fun ;-)

Oh No They Didn't!!!

The Style Jackin' Gods are at it again! Old Navy has released a babydoll hoodie...eerrily similar to the Mike&Chris Bailey hoodie released last year we all fell in love with. The original was price over $300 and I don't know about you...but I am NOT spending that kind of cash on what is essentially a hoodie. So I caved...I did in fact purchase the Old Navy version...but for $29.50 how could I resist? I went to two stores...the 34th st store in NYC only had XXLs left! Get yours before it's gone!!!

The Bailey Hoodie has all the fashion lovers drooling last year!
