Runway Ready

Looks from the fall 2007 runway shows are just starting to hit stores. One of my favorite...and more wearable is this cute number by Diane von Furstenberg. Not every piece that shimmies down the catwalk is actually wearable but DVF has a way with dresses.

First Look at Fall

So fall looks are popping up everywhere..like it or not...and we're seeing lots of muted grays, browns and blues. But another fabulous trend is the bright accent pieces meant to pair with the more neutral fall palette. Let's take a look at how to merge the two trends.

This dress by Sunner is adorable and very versatile. Paired with any of the below will definitely kick the outfit up a notch.

Houndstooth

One of my favorite patterns is being reinvented this fall in unexpected colors, patterns and fabrics. Yes folks itt's houndstooth! But this is not your granddad's houndstooth sport coat...designers are putting this on silk, hoodies and bright girly colors. Another way for us to outdo the boys..

Meals on Heels

Does she ever dress down? I give props to any chic that can help feed the homeless in a pair of high waist jeans and high heels....I couldn't find a pic, but I saw her footwork on the local news lol. As much as I hate the word "Fashionista" lol, Bey is just that in every way of the word!

Beyonce and her pastor this past weekend helping out at the Houston Food Bank

Damn Steve!

Well Mr. Madden does it again..the style jacking king has released an "inspired" version of Christian Louboutin's $925 Emily Boot. Madden's version, the "Chap" looks amazingly similar and at $149.95 has definitely achieved the look for less...Can you tell which is which?

Green is the New Black

Saving the earth has become the hottest thing recently. It was only a while before we saw it trickle down to the fashion world. Anya Hindmarch has designed a limited edition tote designed to be reused for grocery shopping. Instead of tossing plastic bags everytime you shop, why not use a reuseable cloth tote. Of course cheap and chic fashionistas have identified this as the latest MUST have. It is on sale today at the whole foods in NYC...and from what I hear the lines are down the block and around the corner! I'd line up too for this cute $15 limited edition designer bag...well if it weren't raining and I had nothing else to do...lol. Of course it's being peddled on Ebay for ridiculous prices...I saw a few up to almost $300! Ok folks, I think we are missing the point here..lol...
‘I’m Not A Plastic Bag’ will be available only at the following stores: Bowery NYC, Chelsea NYC, Columbus Circle NYC, Union Square NYC, Jericho NY, Manhasset NY, White Plains NY, Greenwich CT, Edgewater NJ, Madison NJ, Milburn NJ, Middletown NJ, Montclair NJ, Ridgewood NJ, and West Orange NJ.
If you're in the area pick one up...and grab one for me too;)
